Sullivan County was established in 1780 and was named for General John Sullivan, a New Hampshire Revolutionary War leader. The county seat is Blountville. Sullivan County is also home to Kingsport and Bristol, two of the three “Tri-Cities” of Upper East Tennessee. This farm is also the oldest Century Farm in Tennessee.
